These are questions that our crew at Anchor have been asking ourselves…
This is a strange time. Everyone’s working from home, bars and restaurants are closed, toilet paper is sold out everywhere, and people were not washing their hands?
Quietly the businesses that are such a big part of our day to day lives are collectively holding their breath while they navigate through a plate full of obstacles.
Okaloosa County is a beautiful and resilient community! For the last 13 years, we have worked with many of the different small businesses and restaurants; either directly or putting their logos on events they sponsor throughout the year. At this point, we all know the hospitality, restaurant, bar and service industries are going to be hit the hardest. These establishments are there for us, so let’s take an opportunity to support them.
We created the Anchoring Okaloosa online fundraiser store for local businesses to raise funds for their business and their staff. We would love to work with as many small businesses as possible. We are going to run online stores and print and ship weekly. At this time all orders will be shipped.
Here is the transparent math: each shirt costs 20 dollars, 10 dollars will go directly to the establishment you purchased your shirt from, 10 dollars will go to our team at Anchor and the production of these orders. We’ve kept the artwork and shirt options simple to maximize the money generated (1 color business logo design printed on the front and the Anchoring Okaloosa logo printed small on the back). We have waived all store fees & set-up fees for each business that is participating so there is NO COST to join in.
